We seek to appoint a lecturer in BA Music and Sound Production, in School of Design and Creative Industries. The successful candidate will be an active and forward-looking practitioner with experience of teaching and research. We are particularly interested in attracting candidates with experience in:
1. Music production techniques across a range of styles and genres, including recording, mixing and mastering.
2. Composition and performance with electronic and digital technologies such as Ableton, Pro Tools and Reaper.
3. Collaborative music making and music industry practices.
4. Extensive knowledge of contemporary sonic practices, across both 20th and 21st century music, sound arts and performance.
The successful candidate will have or will be working towards a PhD in Music & Sound or in a related area, with a portfolio of work of national and/or international significance, excellence and quality.
