I'm on the hunt for an experienced life science and biotech sales person to join my clients commercial team. The ideal person for this opportunity will have experience across direct and indirect sales, business development and account management. To be successful in this role you will need a network across academia, pharma, research and biotechnology customers across the Oxford region in the UK.
Responsibilities:
* Establish and maintain relationships with clients.
* Educate clients and attend trade shows to conduct product demonstrations.
* Generate potential leads for future sales across direct and distribution customers.
* Set and exceed quotas.
* Track and report sales in organised manner.
* Communicate effectively with other members of team.
* Travel to customer sites to build relationships and grow business.
* Manage complex sales cycles and promote the whole portfolio.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree
* 2- 5 years of sales experience
* Strong work ethic and communication skills.
* Experience working in the biotech sales space and selling laboratory equipment.
