Service Coordinator
St Albans (2–3 days onsite)
£28,000-£30,000
Are you organised, customer-focused and someone who thrives in a busy, reactive environment—keen to build a career in service operations?
You will be joining one of the largest suppliers of power supplies (UPS) and emergency backup generators. They offer a wide range of commercial and industrial power supply products to suit a variety of industries.
They also provide complete asset life-cycle management and maintenance support for UPS and generators.
We are looking for a Service Coordinator to join a growing service division, supporting generator maintenance and service operations.
This is a fast-paced, customer-facing coordination role, where you will act as the central point of contact between customers, engineers and internal teams—ensuring service delivery runs smoothly from request through to completion and invoicing.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate service contracts, including:
* Planned maintenance
* Reactive call-outs
* Remedial works
* Act as the primary customer contact, managing communication throughout
* Schedule engineers and ensure access, parts and equipment are in place
* Track jobs through to completion and invoicing
* Liaise with internal teams to meet customer requirements
* Support the Generator Operations Manager to drive efficiency and service delivery
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in service coordination, planning / scheduling or customer service environments
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Confident communicator (written and verbal)
* Ability to work in a reactive, fast-changing environment
* Proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership
A background in engineering, facilities, logistics, planning or field service environments is advantageous but not essential.
