Paying up to £60k + Benefits + Parking Our client is a growing, manufacturing-led organisation seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager to lead and grow a portfolio of strategic client accounts. This is a commercially focused role, working closely with senior stakeholders to drive revenue growth, account expansion and long-term value.
THE JOB
As Sales Account Manager you will be responsible for owning account strategy, developing strong senior-level relationships and identifying opportunities to expand existing accounts. Working cross-functionally, the Sales Account Manager will ensure commercial objectives are achieved while delivering consistent, high-quality outcomes for clients.
* Manage and grow strategic client accounts to meet revenue and growth targets
* Develop and deliver account plans focused on retention and expansion
* Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders
* Identify and convert new opportunities within existing accounts
* Own forecasting, pipeline management and CRM reporting
* Lead commercial negotiations, including pricing and contracts
* Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver high-quality client solutions
THE PERSON
* Proven experience managing and growing strategic accounts
* Strong commercial and consultative sales capability
* Confident engaging and influencing at senior/executive level
* Results-driven with strong forecasting and pipeline discipline
* Manufacturing or engineering industry experience is essential
