About the Role
As our GIS Analyst, you’ll be the go-to expert for turning spatial data into accessible, visual, and practical tools that inform planning, policy, and operations. You’ll support teams across the organisation with maps, spatial analysis, and geospatial storytelling that bring data to life.
Key Responsibilities
1. Collect, process, and analyse spatial data using GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar).
2. Design and produce high-quality maps, dashboards, and visualisations.
3. Support planning and infrastructure teams with geospatial analysis for projects and reports.
4. Maintain and improve spatial data systems and databases.
5. Help integrate GIS into everyday decision-making across the organisation.
6. Stay up to date with geospatial trends, tools, and best practices.
About You
7. Degree or equivalent experience in GIS, geography, environmental science, or a related field.
8. Proficiency in GIS tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS, and spatial databases (PostGIS, SQL, etc.).
9. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
10. Experience with remote sensing, GPS, web mapping, or open data platforms is a bonus.
11. Excellent communication skills – you can explain complex spatial data in a clear, useful way.
