Duration, Location and Working Pattern
* You will be based at Kirkintilloch Health and Care Centre, 10 Saramago St, Kirkintilloch, G66 3BF.
* Full time 36 hours per week, permanent.
* Part‑time hours may be considered.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver specialist physiotherapy assessment, treatment and evaluation for patients with complex rehabilitation needs.
* Work autonomously, managing a defined caseload while contributing to multidisciplinary care planning and coordination.
* Support early discharge from hospital and prevent avoidable admissions through effective community intervention.
* Act as a key link between acute and community services, ensuring seamless patient care pathways.
* Provide expert advice, education and support to patients, carers and multidisciplinary colleagues.
* Contribute to service development, clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives within the team.
* Supervise and support rehabilitation assistants and contribute to staff development and training.
Qualifications, Training, Experience
* Degree or MSc in Physiotherapy with current HCPC registration.
* Significant post‑graduate experience, including time at a senior level within relevant clinical areas.
* Proven clinical expertise in rehabilitation, including care of older adults, neurology, orthopaedics and respiratory conditions.
* Ability to work independently and demonstrate advanced clinical reasoning in complex patient care.
* Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
* Evidence of ongoing professional development and application of learning to clinical practice.
* Full driving licence and willingness to work across community settings.
