The AMT will be doing AOG aircraft work on Bombardier products.
Responsibilities include:
* Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements (Factory, Shop and/or Hangar positions)
* Comply with environmental health and safety policies and procedures
* Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect, and perform maintenance on customer aircraft
* Perform and document work according to manuals and regulations
* Assist in other maintenance disciplines such as Avionics, Structures, and Composites
* Assist with mechanical and electrical removals and installations
* Return aircraft to service after maintenance at off-site locations
* Audit your own location and truck monthly
* Perform Delegated Inspector (DI) functions as qualified by QA
* Primarily work in North America within the base of operation
* Potential for travel multiple weeks at a time
* Some days may not have work but will still be paid
* Expected to be On Call
* Provide an MRT truck or rental car depending on location
Qualifications:
* Must hold an FAA A&P license
* Minimum 3 years of AMT experience, including 1 year with Bombardier aircraft (Challenger, Global)
* Own basic hand tools and demonstrate inventory control
* Able to work unscheduled overtime, including holidays
* Capable of working in seasonal/outdoor weather conditions
* Available for travel with short notice, up to 30 days
* Valid driver’s license and maintain insurable status
* Ability to work independently
* Valid passport for international travel
* Ability to obtain SIDA badge
* Experience with aircraft return to service and inspection procedures
