The Role:
As a General Operative you will be:
1. Operating the machinery in a safe working manner
2. Checking products for quality on the production line and removing defective items
3. Stacking, packaging and labelling finished products correctly
4. Keeping machines supplied with material
5. Maintaining \ up keeping machinery by conducting regular pre- production checks
6. Reporting machinery faults to shift supervisors and maintenance staff
7. Providing production support, again as required, to other factories/ departments
8. Keeping the machines and work area clean and tidy during the shift
Requirements:
9. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment as a general operative or a production operative would be ideal
10. Self-motivated and high energy
11. Ability to work within a team
12. Ability to work in an environment with constantly changing priorities
13. Awareness of Health and safety
Hours of work:
14. Mon - Wed 6pm -, Thurs 6pm -
