Client Manager – Accountancy Practice | Harrogate (Hybrid)

The Role
This is a hands-on position where you will manage a varied portfolio of clients and acting as their trusted advisor.
Key responsibilities include:
• Managing a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors
• Acting as the main point of contact, providing proactive advice and support
• Reviewing and overseeing accounts preparation and related work
• Supporting clients with business planning, forecasting, and growth strategies
• Providing tax planning and advisory input (with support from specialists where needed)
• Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate
About You
• ACA or ACCA qualified (ACA preferred, but ACCA equally considered)
• Ideally 2+ years post-qualified experience, though strong part-qualified or newly qualified candidates with relevant client-facing experience will also be considered
• Background in accounts within a UK accountancy practice
• Exposure to tax planning/advisory work is beneficial
• Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
• Commercially aware, proactive, and organised approach
What’s on Offer
• Salary £40,000 – £50,000 (with flexibility for more experienced candidates)
