Our client, a leading provider of outdoor flooring and substructure solutions, is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join their dynamic sales team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and technically-minded sales professional who enjoys winning work through relationship building, expert consultation, and fast-paced project engagement.
Youll play a pivotal role in driving sales by converting contractor engagement into project wins from initial enquiry to final order .
This position is all about turning enquiries into orders. Youll work closely with contractors, subcontractors, and installers, acting as a trusted advisor and technical specialist to help bring projects to life.
Key Responsibilities for the Technical Sales Engineer:
* Build and strengthen relationships with contractors and subcontractors
* Maintain and develop key accounts through consistent engagement
* Support live projects with fast, accurate estimates and value engineering (VE) proposals
* Provide technical guidance and advice throughout the sales process
* Attend client meetings and represent the company professionally and knowledgeably
* Drive awarded-stage projects through to order placement
* Collaborate with the wider sales team and contribute to team performance
