Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and progressive team at Stamford Veterinary Centre on either a 12-month fixed term or permanent basis.
This role offers a varied caseload with a mix of consulting and surgical duties. We welcome applications from vets working towards or holding postgraduate qualifications. Responsibilities
 * Provide small animal surgical and medical care, including routine surgery and complex medical cases.
 * Participate in our out-of-hours (OOH) service ensuring continuity of care.
 * Maintain clinical standards across cardiology, internal medicine, and diagnostic imaging services.
 * Collaborate with a team of 6 vets and 9 support staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
 * Contribute to clinical governance and quality improvement programmes.
Qualifications & Experience
 * Qualified veterinarian with postgraduate training or working towards it.
 * Confidence in routine surgical procedures and medical case management.
 * Experience or willingness to work in a multidisciplinary practice covering cardiology, internal medicine, and diagnostic imaging.
 * Strong client communication and team collaboration skills.
