Overview:
Robert Walters is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Shift Manager on behalf of a leading FMCG logistics provider. This role plays a key part in day-to-day warehouse operations, supporting the Operations Manager and leading a large team to meet performance, safety, and service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and motivate warehouse shift teams to meet productivity and service KPIs
* Maintain high standards of health & safety, hygiene, and compliance
* Oversee goods-in operations, ensuring accurate and damage-free receipt
* Support team development, performance reviews, and disciplinary processes
* Manage attendance, shift planning, and training compliance
* Drive effective communication and foster a positive team culture
Key Requirements:
* Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role
* Strong leadership and team motivation skills
* Effective time management and problem-solving capabilities
* Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; WMS experience a plus
* Background in e-commerce or packing operations is advantageous
