A Sussex based leading contractor that specialise in refurbishment contracts in occupied complexes across the East and West of the county.
The role:
As Quality Assurance Manager, you will lead the implementation and oversight of the project quality assurance and control systems, ensuring that all works meet contractual, regulatory, and client expectations across multiple schemes. You will collaborate closely with construction, design, and supply chain teams to embed a culture of right-first-time delivery across all stages of the projects. Key responsibilities:
10. Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan
11. Ensure compliance with ISO standards and company quality procedures
12. Manage inspection and test plans (ITPs) and quality records
13. Conduct audits, inspections, and supplier quality reviews
14. Provide quality-related training and support to site teams
15. Interface with client representatives and third-party stakeholders on quality matters
16. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the project lifecycle
About you and your skills:
17. Proven experience in a Quality Assurance Manager role within large-scale construction or infrastructure projects
18. Background with Tier 1 contractors or major projects is highly desirable
19. Strong working knowledge of ISO9001 and quality management systems
20. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
21. Detail-oriented with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
22. Relevant degree or professional qualification in construction, engineering or quality management
23. Practical application of WIRs, MIRs, ITPs/ITAPs
24. Construction quality assurance and inspection regimes
25. Regulatory compliance and audit processes
26. Experience managing large, complex supply chains and driving QA compliance
