This site is part of a large international group and offers excellent job security, structured processes, and long-term career stability.Working within a well-established engineering team, you will predominantly focus on electrical fault finding and maintenance across a range of modern production machinery. This is an ideal role for an engineer who enjoys autonomy, problem-solving, and working in a technically challenging environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCarrying out reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on site machineryDiagnosing and resolving electrical faults efficiently to minimise downtimeWorking on a variety of equipment including corrugators, conveyors, packaging machines, palletisers and cutting machineryElectrical fault finding on control circuits, PLCs, drives, inverters, motors and sensorsSupporting mechanical fault finding when required (gearboxes, bearings, belts, chains, hydraulics and pneumatics)PLC fault finding (Siemens S7 & Allen Bradley - fault finding only)Working closely with the engineering team, team leaders and planners to maintain site performanceEnsuring all work is completed in line with health & safety and site standardsSector - Factory Maintenance (Packaging / FMCG)Non-Negotiable RequirementsElectrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent / Naric approved)Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environmentDesirable RequirementsExperience within packaging, paper, or high-speed manufacturing environmentsExperience working with Siemens S7 or Allen Bradley PLCsThe Electrical Maintenance Engineer will benefit from:Working for a large, stable, and globally recognised manufacturing groupExcellent shift pattern with strong work-life balance2 Days / 2 Nights / 4 Off18 days off after every 7th/8th cycleAnnual bonus up to 10% + monthly KPI bonusPension and ongoing training opportunitiesLong-term job security within a growing business
