Responsibilities
* Helping young people continue with hobbies, social activities, and friendships, and learn new skills.
* Providing day‑to‑day care and creating a safe, homely, therapeutic environment; supporting daily routines such as getting ready for school and ensuring healthy, balanced meals.
* Ensuring the young person has a safe space to relax and unwind within the home.
* Supporting to reach potential and experience new opportunities.
* Supporting development through stimulating activities and consistent care.
* Building meaningful relationships and ensuring safeguarding needs are met.
* Working with other professionals and contributing to care planning.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Full UK Manual Diving licence is essential to be able to take our children to school, appointments and activities.
* Ability to be a great role model for looked‑after children.
* Ability to build trusting relationships.
* A genuine care and compassion to work with looked‑after children.
* Flexibility to work shifts that include evenings, weekends and sleep‑ins.
* Willingness to complete a Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People Workforce.
