Thanks to continued growth and investment in the latest diagnostic equipment, they are expanding their technical team and hiring an experienced Vehicle Technician to help them deliver first‑time‑fix solutions across servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of modern vehicles (including hybrids/EVs). What you'll do Carry out scheduled servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs (brakes, clutches, timing belts, suspension, exhaust/DPF, etc.) to manufacturer standards. Diagnose complex faults using advanced diagnostic tooling and technical data; road‑test and quality‑check your work. Prepare vehicles for MOT and complete rectification work (MOT Tester status is welcome but not essential). Communicate clearly with the front‑of‑house team to ensure accurate estimates, timings, and customer updates. Contribute to a positive workshop culture-tidy bay, safe working practices, and knowledge‑sharing with colleagues.What you'll bring IMI/NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair with solid, hands‑on experience in an independent or main‑dealer workshop. Confident diagnostics capability (electrical and mechanical); able to use modern scan tools and oscilloscope‑led testing. Broad, all‑makes competence; German marque (BMW/MINI) experience is a strong plus. EV/Hybrid familiarity (IMI Level 2/3) is advantageous - training support available.
