Job Summary
Due to an upcoming retirement, Market Harborough & Bosworth Partnership is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated List Holder Salaried GP to join our thriving, patient-focused practice. This is a full-time role (8 sessions per week, 8am-6pm on site), covering both Mondays and Fridays. It offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced GP or someone seeking a new challenge.
You will be a full member of the Primary Health Care GP team, providing a comprehensive range of personal medical services and contributing to the development of the Practice.
Main duties of the job
1. Manage your own list of over 3000 patients, including QOF requirements and daily patient tasks.
2. Maximise effective use of clinical computer systems; record clear consultation notes.
3. Compile and issue prescriptions.
4. Participate in health research, clinical audits, and data collection.
5. Screen patients for health education.
6. Attend team and clinical governance meetings.
7. Perform all duties associated with a GP in primary care, adhering to standards set by Royal Colleges, Department of Health, ICB, CQC, and other regulatory bodies.
About Us
We are a friendly, well-established, forward-thinking practice with 2 GMS contracts across 3 sites in South Leicestershire. Recent expansions include a new on-site pharmacy, dispensary, and additional clinical rooms. Our sites are research-active, and we support GPs with specialist interests, training, and development.

Salary: £109,432.65 FTE per year

Essential Qualifications
* Full GMC Registration, MBChB or equivalent
* MRCGP
* Right to work in the UK
* GP Vocational or equivalent experience
* Commitment to professional development
* Knowledge of NHS and clinical effectiveness
* Proficiency in medical note-taking and Microsoft Office
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
* Trustworthy, flexible, well-organized, and able to manage stress
* Satisfactory DBS Check
Desirable Qualifications
* DRCOG, DFFP
* Experience with EMIS Web and GP systems
* Interest in research and additional clinical skills
* Car driver with a clean license
* Qualified for Implanon, coil fittings, and sexual health promotion
