Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children from birth to age five. The Early Years Educator will play a crucial role in supporting children's learning and development, ensuring their safety and well-being while fostering positive relationships with both children and their families.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that cater to the individual needs of children.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children in your care.
* Observe, assess, and record children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
* Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive team environment that promotes effective communication and teamwork.
* Maintain high standards of care and hygiene within the nursery setting.
* Support children's emotional and social development through positive interactions and guidance.
* Plan activities that encourage creativity, exploration, and learning through play.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures regarding child safety and welfare.
Requirements
* Proven experience in early childhood education or childcare settings, preferably with nursery experience.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
* A genuine passion for working with children and understanding their developmental needs.
* Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare.
* A commitment to ongoing professional development in early years education.
