Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a mechanic at 247 AUTOMOTIVE GROUP LTD, located in Oxford. The individual will be responsible for performing recovery operations for vehicles, driving and operating recovery trucks, and providing roadside assistance. The role also involves assessing vehicle mechanical condition, performing minor roadside repairs, and communicating effectively with customers to ensure a high level of service. Additional tasks include completing relevant paperwork, maintaining recovery vehicle equipment, and adhering to all safety and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
* Truck Driving skills and possession of a valid CDL Class A
* Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
* Experience in truck recovery operations and minor roadside repairs
* Mechanical knowledge and ability to assess vehicle conditions
* Ability to work independently and handle stressful situations
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial
* Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
