Class 2 HIAB Grab Driver – Roofing Specialist
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 HIAB Grab Driver to join a well-established roofing specialist based in Uddingston. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate, offering consistent hours and the chance to secure a long-term role.
Start Date: Monday 7th April
Pay Rate: £15.00 – £16.00 per hour depending one experience
Working Hours:
1. Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:30pm
2. Friday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
3. Operating a Class 2 vehicle with HIAB grab
4. Delivering roofing materials to various sites
5. Assisting with loading/unloading where required
6. Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently
7. Carrying out daily vehicle checks and maintaining compliance with regulations
Requirements:
8. Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
9. HIAB certification (Grab attachment essential)
10. CPC and Digital Tachograph card
11. Previous experience in a similar role preferred
12. Good knowledge of health & safety practices
13. Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
