Page Personnel are currently working with a reputable business based in Huddersfield who are looking for a Payroll Manager to join their growing team on a permanent basis. This client is a bureau practice so you will be responsible for overseeing the payroll for hundreds of clients. It is essential that you have experience working within a payroll position in a practice previously.
Job Description
As a Payroll Manager, your main duties and responsibilities are below:
3. Engage end-to-end payroll processing for clients, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of payroll services.
4. Supervise a team of payroll administrators, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
5. Collaborate with clients to gather payroll data, resolve discrepancies, and address inquiries.
6. Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations, ensuring compliance in all payroll processes.
7. Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
8. Manage relationships with third-party vendors, such as tax authorities.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
9. Experience managing a team of staff previously
10. Experience working within a bureau practice previously
