About The Role
As the Key Account Director, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with Grainger & Worrall’s most strategically important customers. This role focuses on driving client satisfaction, maximising revenue and profit potential, and ensuring long‑term partnerships by delivering exceptional service and aligning solutions with customer needs.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Serving as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts, building and maintaining strong, trust‑based relationships.
* Developing and executing account strategies to meet revenue and growth targets.
* Identifying opportunities to expand the company’s footprint within customer organisations through upselling and cross‑selling.
* Understanding customer objectives, pain points, and industry trends to deliver tailored solutions.
* Monitoring customer satisfaction and proactively addressing issues to ensure retention.
* Collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop customised strategies and deliverables for key accounts.
* Providing client feedback to internal teams to influence product development and service enhancements.
Who We’re Looking For
You’ll have extensive experience in managing high‑value customer relationships, with a proven track record of achieving growth targets through upselling and cross‑selling. You will have experience managing top‑tier clients within the automotive, motorsport, or defence and aerospace industries. You should be motivated by the opportunity to join a medium‑sized company and play a significant role in its expansion.
