I’m currently working with one of my top clients, a leading and fast-growing retailer, who are looking to bring in a Marketing Manager to join their expanding team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive, ambitious marketing function with strong growth plans, where you’ll play a key role in driving the brand forward and delivering high-impact marketing activity across multiple channels.
The role sits at the heart of the marketing team and will focus on planning and delivering the promotional calendar, while also supporting wider brand growth initiatives including events, store launches, partnerships and influencer activity.
This position would suit someone entrepreneurial, proactive and hands-on, who enjoys rolling their sleeves up and working closely with internal teams, suppliers and partners to bring campaigns and brand moments to life.
Key Responsibilities
* Owning and managing the annual promotional and campaign calendar, ensuring activity is planned and delivered effectively
* Leading the end-to-end delivery of marketing campaigns, from planning through to execution and performance analysis
* Supporting brand growth through events, store openings, sponsorships, partnerships and influencer collaborations
* Working closely with internal teams including ecommerce, digital, design and trading to ensure campaigns align with wider business objectives
* Coordinating seasonal campaigns, product launches and promotional activity across both digital and in-store channels
* Briefing and managing creative assets, content and campaign materials
* Monitoring campaign performance and reporting on key marketing and commercial metrics
* Building and managing relationships with external agencies, influencers, suppliers and partners
* Taking a proactive, hands-on approach to executing marketing activity and supporting the wider team where needed
Ideal Background
* Experience in a Marketing Manager or Senior Marketing Executive role
* Strong experience managing marketing campaigns and promotional calendars
* Experience supporting brand-building activity such as events, launches, partnerships or influencer campaigns
* Background within retail, ecommerce, consumer brands or FMCG would be highly beneficial
* Comfortable working cross-functionally with digital, ecommerce and commercial teams
* Highly organised with strong project management and campaign planning skills
* A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to roll up your sleeves and make things happen
