JOB TITLE: PRODUCTION OPERATIVE
RESPONSIBLE TO: PRODUCTION MANAGER
JOB PURPOSE: To ensure the CNC machines are kept running, producing high quality and accurate parts with a good level of efficiency.
SALARY BAND: Starting at Bronze £30,647.50
HOURS: Monday to Friday 6am – 4pm.
HOLIDAY: 22 Days + Bank Holidays.
PLACE OF WORK: BRISTOL BRANCH which is located at 3 Deans Road, Trading Estate, Avonmouth, Bristol, BS11 8AT.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
· IT Literate.
· Fluent in English.
· Able to follow detailed instructions.
· CNC experience preferred.
· Experienced with use of power & hand tools.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ø To make deliveries in a van from time to time.
Ø To keep the machines running to produce products to meet daily targets.
Ø To carry out general maintenance of the equipment as per training and manufacturers guidelines.
Ø Check parts produced are of a high quality and accurate to requests.
Ø Ensure material cut is correctly and of a high quality.
Ø Report any faults immediately and complete machine safety checks frequently.
Ø Monitor machine consumables and inform the workshop manager when more parts are required.
Ø Maintain a clean and organised working area.
Ø Undertake training as required.
Ø Empty waste material regularly to avoid overflow.
Ø General warehousing duties.
TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ø Assist in development and promote the culture of continuous improvement, thereby recommending and implementing authorised changes.
Ø Comply with Health & Safety regulations at all times.
Ø Maintain good housekeeping of the department including the equipment within it.
Ø Ensure high standards of conduct, appearance and behavior are met at all times.
Ø Communicate effectively with all team members, colleagues and management team.
Ø Participate in the company stock takes when necessary.
In addition to the above duties and responsibilities, the job holder is required to perform any other duty requested by Management from time to time.
