We are now looking for an Inbound Transport Controller to join our operations team and manage the effective coordination of inbound deliveries.
A Typical Day May Involve
* Book and coordinate all inbound transport movements in line with operational requirements
* Manage carrier and supplier communications to ensure delivery schedules are met
* Monitor inbound performance, resolving delivery issues, delays, or discrepancies
* Ensure compliance with transport legislation, site standards, and customer requirements
* Maintain accurate records and update transport management systems
* Work closely with warehouse, inventory, and planning teams to align inbound flow
* Drive a culture of continuous improvement and right‑first‑time delivery
This Role Would Suit People Who
* Previous experience in a transport, logistics, or supply chain environment - desirable
* Strong organisational and planning skills with excellent attention to detail
* Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with multiple stakeholders
* Good IT skills
