What your typical day will look like
Your role will be front and centre of the waiting area, supporting clients throughout their visit to the practice. Beginning with greeting each client and offering support, guidance and expertise confidently, to when they’re leaving ensuring that they have understood any information given to them and they have received the highest level of service during their visit.
Tasks will include:
1. Regularly checking with clients that their needs are being met by the practice services and/or products.
2. Explaining care plans.
3. Appointment after care (explaining invoices, asking if they have any other questions .
4. Weighing dogs.
5. Photographing pets for social media use and gaining correct approval.
6. Gain traction on social media platforms.
7. Asking for feedback and gaining positive reviews on social media.
You may need to assist reception team if needed. But the main aim of this role is to ensure every customer leaves the practice fully informed and delighted with the service they have received.
This is a full time or 2 part time roles working Monday – Friday. The shifts will be split as 9am-12 noon and 4pm-8pm.

8. You are confident at being front facing, with a happy and understanding persona.
9. You are the friendly and welcoming face for the client and their pets when they arrive at the practice.
10. You are able to provide guidance by keeping yourself fully up-to-speed with the practice services and any additional services available.
11. You are calm, attentive and always focus on the clients’ needs.
12. You will bring enthusiasm and drive to your role. Your passion for service is matched with your love of pets.
13. You can deal with everything that is thrown at you, from comforting a client who has had some bad news about their pet or sharing in the joy of a new puppy’s first visit to the vet.
14. Your personality is infectious and along with your fellow colleagues, you create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the practice.
15. You’re able to build rapport with clients and become there go-to colleague member in practice.
16. Previous experience in a customer environment is a must.
