We are seeking a skilled and reliable Experienced Builder to work alongside our existing builder and joiner as part of our dedicated estate team on a beautiful and historic rural estate. This is a unique opportunity to work in a National Landscape, contributing to the conservation, repair, and sensitive maintenance of estate buildings using traditional construction techniques.
This work is wide ranging and you will be part of a team responsible for a wide variety of hands-on building and maintenance work across the estate, including:
Restoration and repair of traditional stone buildings
Pointing, plastering, and rendering including the use of lime where appropriate
Tanking and general concrete works
General ground works including repairs to private roads and tracks
General plumbing and drainage
Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience in traditional building methods and heritage construction
Skilled in masonry, limework, and general building
Comfortable working independently or as part of a small team
Strong work ethic with attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
Full UK driving licence required
