About the role
As a Group Health and Safety Officer/Coordinator, you will have an instrumental role working for the WEC Group’s central function, where you will be fully supported by the Group’s QHSE Manager. Your role will involve,
4. Actively supporting continuous improvement for all health and safety activities throughout all WEC divisions.
5. Ensuring all personnel and visitors are adhering to safe working practices.
6. Identifying and resolving health and safety issues quickly and effectively using the embedded health and safety tools and techniques used throughout the group.
7. Focusing on reducing the accident rate and non-conformances throughout the group.
8. Providing key Health and Safety support to all the WEC Group divisions.
9. Undertaking Internal and Supplier audits.
10. Document control.
11. Supporting all WEC divisions with their own NCRs.
12. Attending/leading health and safety meetings at all WEC divisions.
13. Raising and implementing safety notices.
14. Identifying and implementing health and safety improvements throughout all WEC divisions.
15. Completing customer questionnaires as and when required.
16. Leading supplier approval.
17. Conducting toolbox talks as required/support supervisors with their own toolbox talks.
18. Supporting environmental related tasks.
19. Any other health and safety related duties as and when required.
Essential Experience:
20. Good working knowledge of H+S processes

29. Full UK driving licence, as you will be driving the company cars between sites
