Overview
HUTH is part of a large NHS Group that combines Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (HUTH) and Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust (NLAG). The Group serves 1.65 million people with a budget of over £1.3 billion and operates five main hospital sites.
Responsibilities
* Participate in audit, appraisal and CPD under clinical governance, RCPath and GMC guidance.
* Take part in audit and medical audit with a dedicated audit lead for the department.
* Provide direct clinical care (8 PAs) and supporting activities (2 SPAs). 1.5 SPAs are core and cover time for CPD, audit, appraisal and revalidation.
* Support teaching, research and educational supervision of at least one trainee per year (FY1 to speciality registrar).
* Work across the Trust’s sites and across a seven‑day period where necessary.
Qualifications
* Completed or willing to complete ES training within a short time of taking up the post.
* Experience in audit, CPD, teaching and supervision (EY1‑registrar level acceptable).
Benefits
10 days of study leave are funded at £1,000 for CPD and training per year. The role is a standard full‑time post with full office accommodation and IT facilities provided.
