We follow a hybrid working model that combines office and remote work, with a requirement to be in the Woking office four days a week. This approach supports the development of a strong and effective team dynamic within Engineering. Skills & Responsibilities: Design and develop electrical systems including LV/MV power distribution systems, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, motors, VFDs, UPS systems, and emergency power supplies in accordance with project and client requirements. Support FEED, detailed design, and brownfield modification projects, including preparation and review of engineering deliverables and as-built documentation. Prepare and review electrical engineering documents including SLD, Load Lists, Cable Schedules, Datasheets, Specifications, Calculations, and Equipment Requisitions. Review vendor drawings, technical submissions, datasheets, and deviation requests to ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable standards, and operational requirements. Participate in TBE and support procurement activities for electrical equipment and packages. Coordinate with process, mechanical, instrumentation, civil, telecoms, and HSE disciplines to ensure integrated and efficient design solutions. Ensure compliance with relevant international standards and codes including IEC, IEEE, NEC, API, ATEX, IECEx, and client engineering specifications. Manage electrical technical queries (TQs), design changes, site instructions, and engineering modifications throughout the project lifecycle. Participate in FATs, SATs, vendor inspections, and site technical reviews to ensure equipment and systems meet project and operational requirements. Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with company HSE policies, electrical safety standards, permit-to-work systems, and project quality requirements. Interface with clients, vendors, consultants, and site teams during design reviews, audits, technical meetings, and project execution activities. Maintain accurate electrical engineering documentation, asset registers, cable schedules, and spare parts data in accordance with project procedures and document control requirements. Support Senior / Principal and Lead engineer and project management teams in achieving project deliverables, schedules, and quality objectives. In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development. Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience: Relevant Electrical qualifications - Electrical BEng. Working towards chartership is advantageous. Experience in using software tools such as ETAP is a bonus Experience in working on Pre-FEED, FEED and detail engineering experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery, & Petrochemical industry. Any previous experience working in an engineering will be considered. Good understanding of National, International Codes & Standards and Best Engineering Practices Communication: Excellent command of the English language in both oral and written communication and skills.
