Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. NMC 1st Level Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered Paramedic/ Physiotherapist
2. Completed or working towards-Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice or PGDip as a minimum must include: 1. History taking and physical assessment 2. Pharmacology 3. Clinical decision making and diagnostics
3. IRMER Regulation trained
4. Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
Experience
Essential criteria
5. 3 years gybnae experience at Band 6/7
6. Experience of working in multidisciplinary teams within an acute health care setting.
7. Evidence of involvement in direct supervision and leadership in teaching and mentoring of junior staff and students
8. Currently working is a practitioner role
Desirable criteria
9. Evidence of implementing change in clinical practice
10. Relevant teaching/supervising/mentoring experience
Technical Skills Competencies
Essential criteria
11. Demonstrable clinical competence in a range of clinical skills and competences associated with the role requirements of the speciality
12. Highly developed communication, influencing and negotiating skills
13. Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
14. Demonstrable effective time management and work organisation skills within autonomous practice to prioritise tasks and duties required to undertake the role consistently
Desirable criteria
15. Ability to coordinated services and liaise with multidisciplinary services at a senior level using excellent interpersonal skills
16. Ability to use appropriate assertiveness when required
Knowledge

17. Sound understanding of evidence-based practice and its application
