Job Description:
We have partnered with a forward-thinking dealership with over 40 years of experience in the heavy plant, new and used equipment services industry. They are looking to expand their team with a Sales and Services Office Administrator across two departments. The ideal candidate will have administrative experience, knowledge of heavy plant equipment, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Role: Sales and Services Administrator
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
Location: Within a reasonable commute of Corby
Responsibilities:
* Weekly stock checks and distribution of lists to the sales team
* Processing deal sheets and ensuring trade-in machine details are accurate
* Conducting HPI checks on trade-in equipment
* Calculating salesperson commissions
* Coordinating invoicing with customers and finance companies
* Liaising with the internal finance team on trade-ins, finance invoicing, and subsidy claims
* Registering machines on manufacturer and internal systems
* Purchasing warranty packages and applying for OEM rebates
* Managing engine warranty registrations
* Invoicing for hire fleet and managing hire contracts
* Providing cover for the Sales Office Controller when required
* Uploading machine services to the manufacturer portal
* Installing sold machines on manufacturer and dealer management systems
* Liaising with the warranty team for warranty job invoicing
* Monitoring machine performance and communicating with customers
* Purchasing service-related items and managing purchase orders with internal finance
* Assisting with incoming customer calls as a second point of contact
* Providing cover for the Service Controller during absence
Key Competences:
* IT literacy, strong knowledge of all Microsoft packages including Excel and Teams
* Ability to multitask and manage time effectively under pressure
* Full UK Driving licence
* Previous experience in plant machinery, agriculture, or automotive sectors
* Strong organisational skills
* Strong communication skills
* Attention to detail
* Process-driven approach
