The Role
* The Paraplanner will play a vital role in supporting Financial Advisers by delivering technical expertise throughout the client journey. This includes preparing detailed reports, conducting in-depth research, and ensuring regulatory compliance, all while keeping the client’s best interests at the centre of every recommendation.
Key responsibilities include:
* Producing suitability reports, review documents, portfolio summaries, and other client communications using industry software
* Conducting product and market research to support advice strategies
* Providing cashflow modelling, risk analysis, and investment comparison data
* Collaborating with advisers to deliver bespoke financial planning solutions
* Liaising with compliance teams to ensure accuracy and regulatory adherence
* Supporting operational and process improvement initiatives
Ideal Candidate Profile
* The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented and proactive professional with a strong background in paraplanning and a passion for delivering high-quality financial solutions.
* Key qualifications and experience:
* CII/CISI Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent)
* Experience in a paraplanning role within wealth management or financial planning
* Strong report writing, analytical and research skills
* Familiarity with financial planning tools such as Intelligent Office, Genovo, and cashflow analysis software
* Committed to maintaining CPD and professional development
