This is a newly created role, giving the successful candidate the chance to make a real impact, shape financial processes, and play a strategic part in the company’s journey.The Role:As Finance Manager, you’ll report directly to the Finance Director and take full ownership of financial reporting, FP&A, and business partnering. This is a hands-on and varied role, offering the opportunity to build out scalable financial processes while providing the strategic insight that supports growth and decision-making.Key Responsibilities:Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timelinessProduce statutory accounts in line with UK GAAP / IFRS and liaise with external auditorsOwn budgeting and forecasting cycles, including variance analysis and commentaryDeliver commercial insights and financial modelling to support strategic decisionsPartner with key stakeholders across sales, operations, and leadership to drive performanceBuild and develop internal controls, policies, and reporting improvementsSupport working capital and cash flow managementProvide ad hoc financial analysis for new projects, investments, and market opportunitiesCandidate Profile:Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)Strong experience in both statutory reporting and commercial finance / FP&ADemonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving SME environmentHands-on approach with a willingness to get involved in operational finance as neededExcellent communication skills and stakeholder management capabilitySystems-savvy – able to streamline and enhance reporting tools (Excel, ERP, BI tools)What’s in it for you?Key finance role in a growing, entrepreneurial businessAutonomy to shape processes and influence strategic decisionsExposure to C-suite and commercial decision-makingProgression opportunities as the company continues to scaleHybrid working, flexible hours, and strong benefits package
