Job Description

Office Manager

My client is looking for an office manager to join their team based in Manchester, this is a permanent vacancy. The client is a growing construction business with multiple work streams including traditional Cat A and Cat B office fit-outs and specialist engineering projects. This is a full time office based role.

Role Overview

The client is seeking an experienced Office Manager to provide comprehensive administrative support to their directors and business operations. This is a critical business function that goes beyond basic administrative tasks, requiring someone who can take initiative and adapt to the needs of a growing business.

Key Responsibilities

* Diary management
* Manage travel arrangements when required
* Create strategic client engagement plans
* Coordinate client events and entertainment
* Support business development initiatives
* Facilities management (office h&s, stationary etc)
* Potential input with accounts, invoicing, and supplier relationships
* Document control via Procore system
* Manage HSE+Q information
* Maintain pipeline tracking for upcoming projects and tenders
* Lead and champion social value programs
* Track and report on social value outcomes

Required Skills & Experience

* Proven experience in a similar office management or administrative role
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, - PowerPoint, word & Excel all important
* Experience with document control systems (Procore experience beneficial)
* Adaptable

Desirable Skills & Experience

* Experience in the construction or engineering sector
* Knowledge of social value frameworks and initiatives
* Experience with business development support
* Familiarity with CRM systems
* Understanding of basic accounting processes

Salary range: £35,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience
