We are looking for a Sea Logistics Intermodal Specialist to manage inbound container flows for a major retail customer, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and on-time delivery across a complex distribution network. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
How you create impact- Develop and manage inbound delivery plans to ensure customer requirements are met while balancing operational capacity.
- Coordinate rail, road, and intermodal transport providers to deliver volumes on time and in full.
- Proactively monitor and mitigate demurrage and detention exposure through effective planning and container management.
- Produce operational reports and insights that support customer decision-making and performance management.
- Lead daily operational reviews with customers and suppliers, driving alignment on priorities and service delivery.
