The Role
This Accounts Technician role is a pivotal position within the finance team, offering hands-on exposure to a variety of accounting tasks. The role is based fully onsite at the Cookstown depot, conveniently located near the Dungannon Road.
* Managing accounts up to trial balance for multiple entities
* Utilising Sage 200 and bespoke software systems to maintain accurate financial records
* Collaborating with the finance team, which includes a Financial Controller, Accounts Payable specialists, Credit Controllers and an Accountant
* Ensuring payroll and accounts transactions are processed efficiently and accurately
The Person
This Accounts Technician role is ideal for candidates who are proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a thriving finance team.
* Part-qualified accountant or accounts technician certification - desirable
* Previous experience in transactional accounting or trial balance preparation
* Proficiency in Sage 200 or similar accounting software
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Desirable: Experience with bespoke software systems
* Desirable: A track record of quickly adapting to new processes and systems

* Salary: £28K - £31/£32K per annum (negotiable depending on experience)
* Full-time role with a 36.5-hour workweek (flexible start/end times available)
* 29 days annual leave, including statutory holidays and set closures (July, Christmas, and St. Patrick's Day)
