Our client is expanding its renowned childcare team in Manchester and is looking for an experienced Solicitor or Legal Executive to join them. You’ll enjoy predominantly home working, stepping into the office only occasionally and attending court as and when required. It’s real flexibility—backed by a firm whose reputation speaks for itself.
You’ll be part of a collaborative, highly experienced team whilst having the autonomy to manage and structure your own work.
The Role
* Managing a varied, high-quality caseload of public and private childcare matters
* Representing clients in care proceedings and child protection cases where your expertise matters most
* Working closely with clients and local authorities—building trust and long-term relationships
* Collaborating with and supporting a dedicated team of paralegals and legal assistants
About You
* A qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (NQ+ - all PQE levels considered) with strong experience in childcare law
* Strong advocacy experience
* Excellent understanding of public and private children law
* A collaborative team player who enjoys mentoring and working alongside colleagues
* A professional who values genuine flexibility and a healthy work–life balance
