Job Description
3. Collaborate with the merchandising team to ensure stock levels meet customer demand and sales targets.
4. Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for maximising revenue.
5. Assist in planning and forecasting stock requirements for upcoming seasons and promotions.
6. Monitor stock performance and take necessary actions to optimise inventory levels.
7. Support the preparation of reports and presentations for stakeholders.
8. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products to stores or distribution centres.
9. Work closely with the buying team to maintain a cohesive product range.
10. Provide administrative support for the merchandising team as needed.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Merchandiser should have:
11. Experience or education in retail, merchandising, or a related field.
12. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and trends.
13. Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
14. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software tools.
15. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
