About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and student-focused Career Advisor to support individuals in making informed decisions about their education, training, and career pathways. You will provide high-quality guidance, helping clients identify their strengths, explore opportunities, and achieve their professional goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver one-to-one and group career guidance sessions
* Support clients with career planning, goal setting, and progression pathways
* Assist with CV writing, job applications, and interview preparation
* Provide up-to-date labour market information and education/training advice
* Build relationships with employers, training providers, and educational institutions
* Organise and deliver workshops, career events, and employability sessions
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with data protection policies
Requirements
* Degree in Careers Guidance, Education, Psychology, or a related field
* Relevant qualification in Career Guidance (e.g., Level 6/7 Diploma in Career Guidance - desirable)
* Experience in careers advice, coaching, or education support
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work with diverse individuals, including young people and adults
* Knowledge of labour market trends and education pathways
Desirable Skills
* Experience working in schools, colleges, or training environments
* Understanding of employability skills and recruitment processes
* Ability to deliver workshops and group sessions
* Knowledge of online career tools and platforms
