Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. We're looking for a highly experienced and time-served roofer. We're highly rated throughout South Cumbria & North Lancashire and require an additional roofer. Must hold a Full UK Driving license.
Duties
* Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems using various materials such as slate, tile and flat roofing systems.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and fastening roofing materials.
* An ideal candidate would be skilled in leadwork.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification.
* Conduct inspections of roofs to identify issues that require attention or repair.
* Apply carpentry skills for structural support where needed during roofing projects.
* Assist with plumbing or masonry tasks related to roof drainage systems or flashing installations.
Requirements
* Proven experience in roofing or a related construction field is essential.
* Strong skills in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) regularly throughout the workday.
* Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to quality workmanship.
