Teaching Learning & Assessment Manager, Weston-super-Mare
Weston College, one of the fastest-growing colleges in the UK, offers courses from entry level to Masters degrees and provides an inspiring working environment. We are seeking a Teaching, Learning & Assessment Manager to join our team.
This is a full-time position, working 37 hours per week, with consideration for part-time applications. The role is based in Weston-super-Mare and involves working across all college campuses.
Day-to-day responsibilities
1. Oversee the quality of teaching, learning, and assessment practices across designated areas (including 16-19, Adult, Work-based Learning, and SEND).
2. Develop curriculum managers by enhancing their skills, confidence, and capacity.
3. Provide bespoke support, training, and improvement programs.
4. Promote the dissemination of outstanding TLA practices throughout the college.
Required skills and qualifications
1. A relevant Degree or professional qualification.
2. Minimum of 3 years teaching, assessing, or support experience.
3. Proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching, learning, assessment, or tutoring.
4. A teaching qualification (minimum Level 4) or equivalent sector qualification.
