Salary: £60,000 - £70,000

Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day from home
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager/ Management Accountant to oversee the finance function. You will be responsible for all aspects of client accounting and financial reporting within a dynamic and fast-paced industry.
This hands-on role blends financial management, client relationship management, and strategic reporting. The Finance Manager will work closely with clients, suppliers, colleagues, and senior management to ensure financial accuracy and transparency across the client portfolio.
Client Accounting
1. Prepare and deliver regular financial reports to clients, detailing income and expenditure.
2. Manage and reconcile multiple client accounts, ensuring accuracy in all transactions and proper allocation of funds.
3. Monitor budget performance vs. actual spend, providing variance analysis and proactive commentary.
4. Liaise with client managers to develop and maintain property-related budgets.
5. Manage client funding requirements as necessary.
6. Maintain detailed reconciliations of client expenditure and funds received.
Financial Management & Reporting
7. Produce management accounts and financial performance reports for both clients and internal stakeholders.
8. Develop and report on KPIs including efficiency, profitability, and budget adherence.
9. Assist in preparing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns.
10. Manage VAT returns and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
11. Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and internal controls within the finance function.
Experience & Skills Required
12. Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a Management Accountant/ Finance Manager or equivalent.
13. Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
14. Prior experience in an SME or property-related business is desirable.
