Zenith Nurseries Ltd is a family-owned business established in 1978 by two Italian brothers who settled in the UK. Today, the company is run by the second generation and continues to grow as a trusted supplier of premium fresh and ready-to-eat salads.
We operate:
* A BRCGS AA accredited Ready-to-Eat Salad Factory
* A Red Tractor accredited Fresh Produce facility
* Four growing sites located close to our main production site
The Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-focused Quality Assurance & Accreditation Officer to join our Technical Department.
You will work closely with the Technical team while supporting factory operations to maintain high food safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with maintaining BRCGS and Red Tractor standards
* Conduct internal audits and factory inspections
* Carry out daily quality and hygiene checks within production areas
* Respond to customer complaint investigations and reporting
* Maintain technical documentation and food safety records
* Assist with staff training in GMP, hygiene, and food safety procedures
* Conduct sampling, inspections, and data recording
* Support trend analysis reporting for quality performance
* Provide technical support to production and packing teams
Essential:
* BRCGS Food Standard
* Food manufacturing or food production experience
* Comfortable using computers and Microsoft Office
Desirable (but not required):
* Knowledge of food safety or hygiene standards
* Knowledge of Red Tractor Accreditation
Working Hours
* 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
* Flexible start times (examples):
* 8:30am – 4:30pm
* 9:00am – 5:00pm
* 9:30am – 5:30pm
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
