What you'll be doing;
* Assist Regional Environmental Engineer in managing Environmental and Quality systems across 3 ERFs
* Implement and monitor daily environmental compliance requirements
* Support ERF management in meeting environmental monitoring and reporting obligations
* Plan and coordinate environmental monitoring and testing according to permit standards
* Produce required reports under Environmental Permit and other regulations
* Manage and liaise with third-party contractors for environmental monitoring programs
* Coordinate with ERF Operational staff to maintain compliance and resolve issues
* Travel between multiple sites, including potential overnight stays as required
What we're looking for;
* Comprehensive knowledge of industrial regulations, emissions, and environmental permitting
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
* Flexible, positive attitude with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all organisational levels
* Proficient in IT, particularly spreadsheet applications
* Valid driving license with willingness to work flexible hours
* Science/Engineering qualification preferred (environmental, chemistry, engineering)
* Understanding of combustion processes and industrial health & safety protocols
