Spire Hull and East Riding have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join the outpatient’s bank team. This will suit you if you are looking for that work/life balance.
Spire Hull and East Riding Hospital is based in Anlaby, near Humber Bridge and the hospital provides care for patients across East Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire. Our hospital offers a range of services and procedures including orthopaedic, general surgery, weight loss surgery, eye surgery and cosmetic surgery. Other services include, radiology - MRI and CT and physiotherapy. Duties and responsibilities;
To provide exemplary planned care for patients while managing more than one clinical team.
You will be required to:
1. In this fast-paced role, you will be required to assist our Clinical team in providing exemplary Care within the department, whilst providing Healthcare Assistance to our Nursing team.
2. As a HCA, duties will include routine tasks related to the delivery of care to ensure our patient’s health and well-being.
3. You will move and set up diagnostic equipment (after training) and other resources, as well as applying technology for measurement, monitoring and treatment.
Who we're looking for
4. NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is essential
5. Must have previous experience working as an HCA in an hospital setting preferably in the outpatient’s department.
6. System literacy is essential; MS Office and SAP is desirable
7. Must be accurate and have a strong desire for attention to detail.
