A welcoming and supportive early years setting in Middlesbrough is seeking a dedicated Nursery Teaching Assistant / Level 3 Teaching Assistant / Early Years Specialist to join their team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting young children during the early stages of their education and development.
The successful Nursery Teaching Assistant will work closely with early years staff to support children through play-based learning, classroom activities and daily routines. As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years Specialist, you will help create a nurturing and engaging environment where children feel safe, supported and encouraged to learn.
Key Responsibilities of the Nursery Teaching Assistant / Early Years Specialist:
* Supporting children within the nursery and early years setting.
* Assisting with play-based learning and educational activities.
* Supporting communication, social interaction and development.
* Helping with classroom preparation and daily routines.
* Promoting positive behaviour and engagement.
* Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
The Ideal Nursery Teaching Assistant / Early Years Specialist Will:
* Hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years or Teaching Assistance (preferred).
* Have previous experience working within an early years or nursery setting.
* Be nurturing, patient and enthusiastic.
* Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).
* Have a fully checkable work history.
