Job Title: Registered Manager – Camden
Location: Camden, N8 area
Salary: Base salary of £53,000 per annum with potential to earn up to £60,800 through performance-related bonuses.
Benefits:
* 32 days annual leave including bank holidays, increasing by one day per year for the first three years
* On-call duties included within salary; on-call responsibilities are shared with the Delivery Manager and are infrequent depending on home circumstances
* Ofsted performance bonuses: £3,000 for an ‘Outstanding’ report and £1,500 for a ‘Good’ report
* Company car or travel allowance of £3,000 per annum
* Occupancy bonus of £400 per month for full occupancy

Home Details:

* Specialist provision for children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead our existing children’s residential home in Camden. You will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the home, ensuring high standards of care are consistently maintained in line with Ofsted requirements and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage all aspects of the residential home, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties
* Maintain compliance with Ofsted standards and company policies, preparing for inspections and driving continuous improvement
* Manage and develop staff, fostering a supportive team culture and delivering regular supervisions and performance reviews
* Oversee care planning and ensure that individual needs of children are met effectively
* Manage budgets, staffing rotas, and resources efficiently
* Work closely with external agencies, families, and stakeholders to support children’s wellbeing and development
* Share on-call responsibilities with the Delivery Manager as required
Person Specification:
* Proven experience as a Registered Manager in residential child care, preferably with children who have Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Comprehensive understanding of Ofsted standards and regulatory frameworks
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
* Flexible approach to work, including willingness to support on-call duties
