About the role
As our next Safety Advisor reporting to the HSET Manager, you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results.
This role is based at Iron Bridge, located 145km away from Port Hedland on an 8/6 roster from Perth.
In this role, you will;
1. Coordinate and assist in the implementation of safe systems of work across the project
2. Assist in delivering of the site safety management plans and safety objectives
3. Facilitate and lead incident investigations as required
4. Conduct inspections and audits on a regular basis to identify deficiencies.
5. Partner with our operational departments to strengthen and enhance our health, safety and environmental performance through coaching and mentoring
6. Monitor compliance to monthly activity schedules and support site leaders in their delivery.
7. Assist with the inputting of key data into site systems for event reporting and ongoing or periodic reporting.
8. Assist with the collation and collection of evidence for internal and external audits.
9. Support the HSE Manager with coaching and mentoring of site personnel
About you
10. Minimum Diploma in OHS and/or Cert IV WH&S
11. Demonstrated experience in open pit mine operations
12. Sound knowledge of The Work Health and Safety Act 2020 and The Work Health Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022.
13. Lead Auditor Qualification (desirable)
14. Cert IV TAE (desirable)
