We are looking for an Assistant Manager to join our amazing Leeds store team and assist the store manager in leading, coaching and managing the team to deliver exceptional service and magical retail standards.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced retail assistant manager or very experienced retail supervisor wanting to take the next step in their management career. We want someone who is commercially focused, highly organised and structured in approach, as well as a strong leader. Someone who enjoys the day to day challenges and rewards of retail, and who thrives within a customer centric environment. Along with this, we're looking for a great leader of people, someone who role models the way and shares their skills within the team. A background in health and beauty would be beneficial, although not necessary.
Job Description:
· Managing and overseeing shop operations, ensuring efficient functioning of the shop, managing the sales floor and providing maximum profitability.
· Human resources including recruiting, training, managing rotas, assigning responsibilities, performance management and setting sales targets.
· Administering accounting functions, meeting monthly, quarterly and annual sales and financial targets, managing budgets and generating payroll.
· Controlling inventory to ensure sufficient stock, daily and weekly counts, rotated and changed by seasons and sales.
· Delivering exceptional customer service, setting criteria for the team, establishing security and safety measures and compliance.
